It was an eventful week for the Golden State Warriors which gives Sheed and myself (Jordan is on the East Coast attending the Sloan Conference) a ton to talk about on the latest edition of the WarriorsWorld podcast. We start the show talking about Stephen Curry's incredible 54-point performance under the brightest of lights in Madison Square Garden. Then we dive into the brawl/scuffle/game-of-tag (as Sheed puts it) that took place against the Pacers in Indiana. Has David West been fined yet? No? Okay. Finally, we end the show by going over the interesting parenting methods by the Thompson's in regards to Klay's money. All I have to say is, David Lee better be pitching in for his sophomore teammate's $35,000 fine. Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast on iTunes! |

The band is back together as we all convene to talk about the hottest topic of the week: All-Star selections and snubs. The Bay Area News Group's Marcus Thompson II joins us to kickstart the conversation and gives his thoughts on the Warriors' January performance thus far. He also drops a Super Bowl prediction in for all you Niner fans. Don't forget to subscribe and rate us on iTunes! |

The WarriorsWorld Podcast is back after a mini break for the holidays. Jordan is on vacation this week so Sheed and guest host Ben Cruz of Bleacher Report hold it down in studio. In our first segment, we talk about the thrilling Warriors-Lakers game from Saturday as well as touch on the win against Utah on Wednesday night. In segment number two, we welcome on to the show CSN Bay Area Warriors/NBA writer and 95.7 The Game host, Matt Steinmetz to discuss everything Warriors as well as a little trip down memory lane with Sheed. We end the show by discussing the Santa Cruz Warriors' home opener over the weekend and what it means for the city of Santa Cruz. |

The season is upon us, but not without some early hiccups. Ben and myself talk the Warriors 2-2 start, the struggles of David Lee, our early Andrew Bogut observations and the injury to Brandon Rush. In our second segment we have Warriors beat writer for the San Francisco Chronicle SFGate.com Rusty Simmons. We ask Rusty about the Rush situation, the offensive struggles, his early early on and more. In our final segment we -- for better or worse -- predict this week's games against the Cavaliers, Lakers and Nuggets. |

This week on the WarriorsWorld podcast we have our 2012-2013 season preview. Ben, Sheed and myself give our predictions for the upcoming Warriors season along with who we think wins the East, West and the Larry O' Brian trophy. Note: this podcast was recorded before Stephen Curry signed his four year, $44 million deal. So, when Ben and myself predict the Warriors won't get a deal done before the extension deadline, well, don't think of us as being too stupid. Enjoy! |

This week on the podcast my other co-host Ben calls into our first segment as we discuss the Warriors terrible showing against the Clippers (10/22), the recently released NBA GM survey and the injuries of Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Love. In our second segment, I interview Matt Moore -- CBSSports.com senior NBA blogger and editor of hardwoodparoxysm.com -- and reflect on the NBA GM Survey's, the Warriors off-season moves, how they look for the upcoming season and offers his predictions for the Finals and MVP. In our final segment, former WarriorsWorld TV host Lucena Herrera joins me to talk about the WarriorsWorld 10th Anniversary event coming up this Friday. |

We're back after a little one week hiatus. On this week's episode of the WarriorsWorld Podcast, Jordan and I start off by talking about the beginning of the Warriors preseason, our first impressions and touch again on the vacant starting small forward job. In our second segment, we welcome on to the show the Golden State Warriors assistant general manager and Santa Cruz Warriors general manager Kirk Lacob to discuss Santa Cruz's open tryouts, Kirk's duties for both teams and of course the main team up in Oakland. We finish off the show with our quick thoughts on open practice and who we thought had the best solo performance during the annual rookie hazing. |
