The Warriors are the Western Conference Champions and are headed to the NBA Finals.

Let that sink in for a moment. While the feeling is great, the journey is not over yet. The Warriors still need four more victories to claim the ultimate prize, the NBA championship.

In our first segment we talk about the Warriors beating the Rockets in Game 5 and the Western Conference Finals overall. We also discuss Steph Curry’s scary fall and Trevor Ariza’s knee landing in Klay Thompson’s head.

The Warriors are up 2-0 against the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals.

Now, the series moves to Houston for Games 3 and 4. The Rockets played good in the first two games and James Harden almost won the game for them in Game 2, but Steph Curry and Klay Thompson prevented him from getting a shot off with their double team.

Adam Lauridsen of GSW Fast Break joins the show to discuss this series and his trip to Houston for Games 3 and 4.

On this week's episode, Sheed joins myself as we talk the Warriors 8-6 starts, the disheartening Andrew Bogut news, the improving play of the rookies and the Harrison Barnes dunk. 

In our second segment we have Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports as we talk his favorite dunks at Oracle Arena, the potential of Harrison Barnes, the Western Conference and of course some San Jose State football. 

In our final segment, I talk about my top five dunks at Oracle Arena and their rankings. Sheed and myself also reminisce on the atmosphere in the arena for the dunks we were lucky enough to see live.

This week on the WarriorsWorld podcast we have our 2012-2013 season preview. Ben, Sheed and myself give our predictions for the upcoming Warriors season along with who we think wins the East, West and the Larry O' Brian trophy. 

Note: this podcast was recorded before Stephen Curry signed his four year, $44 million deal. So, when Ben and myself predict the Warriors won't get a deal done before the extension deadline, well, don't think of us as being too stupid.

We're back after a little one week hiatus.

On this week's episode of the WarriorsWorld Podcast, Jordan and I start off by talking about the beginning of the Warriors preseason, our first impressions and touch again on the vacant starting small forward job.

In our second segment, we welcome on to the show the Golden State Warriors assistant general manager and Santa Cruz Warriors general manager Kirk Lacob to discuss Santa Cruz's open tryouts, Kirk's duties for both teams and of course the main team up in Oakland.

We finish off the show with our quick thoughts on open practice and who we thought had the best solo performance during the annual rookie hazing.
